Last month, we asked about your most memorable – and perhaps craziest - April Fool’s Day pranks. Turns out, Synergy readers have pulled off a host of funny, unexpected and sometimes just plain goofy-but-fun jokes to celebrate April 1st .
One survey participant who was pregnant and near her due date faked labor- only to announce “April Fool’s” after friends and family were sure the baby was coming any second. Other April Fool’s pranks included replacing bottles of water with empty bottles, briefly claiming to have won the lottery, and rigging a car horn to mysteriously blow every time the brakes were touched.
Not surprisingly, at least one of these jokes backfired. A reader told us her daughter wrapped a hairband around the sink hose handle so that when the youngster’s step-dad started to wash dishes, he’d be squirted in the face while she said “Happy April Fool’s” – only she forgot about her prank, went to get some water from the sink and accidentally squirted herself.
